Creative-at-Large, Former VP for Integration, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi

Tony started his career in 1998 as a Writer at BCD Pinpoint. He moved Ogilvy One in 1999. After two years of doing direct marketing for brands like Crown Asia and Nestle, he found his way to BBDO Guerrero Ortega where he got to write ads for everything from shampoo, soda, insecticide, telcos, dotcoms and stuffed crust pizza.

In 2003, he was tapped by Grey Worldwide in Malaysia to work as Regional Creative Director for its Global Business Unit where he handled Pantene, Pringles and Febreze for South East Asian markets. He came back to Manila in 2006 and after a brief stint with Proximity Philippines, he joined Ace Saatchi’s to help revitalize its 60 year-old Manila office. He has since left and is planning something big, or at least, fun.

Apart from writing ads and the occasional jingle, Tony has been a member of Campaign Brief Asia’s Regional Creative Rankings List for the past 6 years. He has been recognized at international shows like the British D&AD, the Clios and The One Show, Cannes, The Asian Direct Marketing Awards, Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, The Asian Advertising Awards and the Malaysian Kancils. He has also won in the Creative Guild, the Philippine Ad Congress,The Boomerangs, The Araw Values and the Catholic Mass Media Awards. In 2004, he was ranked #88 in Media Magazine’s Asia’s Hottest Young Creatives.
