FOODPANDA ACTIVATES DYNAMIC WEATHER TRIGGER CAMPAIGN WITH REAL-TIME DATA

To maximise personalisation and reach relevant audiences via contextual DOOH messaging by utilising weather enabled triggers such as sunny or rainy days, and time-belts - morning rush drive and after office drive-time, or other relevant occasions in the Philippines calendar to feature relevant menu items accordingly.

The challenge for this case study is The foodpanda basket has a countless number of food items. How do you feature each of them in a relevant way and contextually air them accordingly in multiple panels?

The solution they made is The campaign utilised Moving Walls’ HTML airing tools to track material performance, airing schedule, and verify the accuracy of triggers via an online dashboard. When Google’s API on sight picks up the temperature signals, Moving Walls' Content Management System (CMS) was prompted to play the ads accordingly. If it’s a sunny day, the data platform picked up the warm weather signal and 'Halo-Halo' ice cream creatives popped up. When it rained, the trigger prompted other comfort food items.
