Manila, Philippines. September 5, 2019 — Highlighting its innovative use of social media, Teleperformance Philippines bagged the Social Media Excellence Award for BPO Business Communication at the Philippine Social Media Week.
The recognition was presented to Teleperformance for its inspiring and inventive storytelling through social media of different efforts of the company.
These included Teleperformance Philippines’ Great Place to Work certification journey, which aimed to communicate the company’s culture of listening, caring and team spirit, as well promote Teleperformance Philippines as an inspiring work environment with its dynamic employee engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, and the people’s “Each Interaction Matters” moments.
Other innovative campaigns include Teleperformance’s #8353 Campaign, which leveraged on moment marketing during worsening traffic conditions to demonstrate the value of its hotline service as a convenient, hassle-free option for job searches. Teleperformance also highlighted its strong relationships with applicants, the academe and the community through its TP LaunchPad, GroceRush, Terry Chatbot and Citizens of the World executions, to name a few.
Senior Director for Communications and Marketing Marilyn Ventenilla, together with the Communications & Marketing and the Recruitment teams, received the award on behalf of the company.

The conference brought social media practitioners together for a learning experience that aims to advance understanding of social media’s role in society.
